Sainsbury's Bag Packing
Sainsbury's Bag Packing Raised Over £500
Well done Cubs and Scouts who came and helped on Saturday with the Bag Packing at Sainsbury's. The weather didnt help with lower than expected peopl shopping, but still a respectable amount raisded in such a short time! This Money will be banked and then divided amongst those that attended to reduce cost of 2009 activities.
Thank you to Sainsbury's for the opportunity to raise money within store.

Christmas Party Time!
For the first year in many the leader have actually pulled there fingers out and managed to arrange a Christmas Party that takes place before Christmas.
Monday 15th December
- Beavers are Bowling at Lakeside, normal times"
- Cubs are going to the Cinema at the Odeon
- Scouts are going Quasar, Bowling and Food at TenPin (used to be Megabowl)
You should have received detailed meeting location, times and costs from your section leaders. Contact them if you have any questions.

Christmas Meal & Chefs Badge
Congratulations to both patrols on fantastic meals produced and the great decorations made. It just goes to show what you can do with £10 to feed 6-7 people a full 3 course meal.
All those who assisted with the cooking of the meal will receive there chefs badge, those that couldnt make it do not worry as there will be other chances in the not too distant future.
Menu
- Starter: Cheese Crackers, grapes and apple. (I tried to tell them that this is usually a traditional post-desert course. Luke)
- Main Course: Regae Ragae Chicken, with Cheese & Bacon and seasonal Veg or Large "Pigs in Blankets" and full christmas trimmings!
- Dessert: Gingerbread Cookies & Fruit Salad. (There should have been crepes with Chocolate but a mishap with the chocolate removed this item from the menu)
A Great Effort, all leaders that tried it said that both troops did an excellent job.
