Welcome to cotonscouts.org.uk, the website of Chilvers Coton Scout Group. We have had a presence on the internet for a while now but we thought it was time we started to use the site, rather than just as an electronic poster.
To all our members, parents and prospective members, this website should be able to provide you with any information about the group and the relevant section activities.
If you feel like something should be added to this site then please let us know.
Bonfire and Firework Party
Chilvers Coton Scout Group will be hosting a Bonfire and fireworks party on Monday 3rd November from 18:00 at Chilvers Coton Liberal Club. Tickets are £1.50 each or £5 for a family ticket (2adults+2children) There will be stalls, games and Food available!

One Hundred and One, Not Out!
Congratulations to all Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Leaders, at Chilvers Coton who in Nuneaton's Scouting Centenary year have managed to retain the "Group Development Plate" and also to win the Andy Bardon Trophy for Conservation.

JOTA / JOTI
Thank you and well done to Danny Williams and Matthew Stevens, for attending JOTA / JOTI on Sunday 19th. Both managed to chat to Scouts as far away as Australia and Sri-Lanka via Radio and Internet Chat. Both have achieved there Communicators Badge and take away a special JOTA/JOTI uniform badge that can be worn until next year.
Active Kids 08 Equipment has Arrived
The activekids equipment has arrived, including storage containers, sports bags, plastic camps sets, tennis/volleyball nets and much, much more.

Recycling really pays off!
A cheque for £24 has arrived from ScoutsAppeal for recycling old mobile phones and printer cartridges. A big thank you for all those that have recycled there cartridges and phones. Keep it up, this is by far one of the easiest and certainly most environmentally friendly way of raising money. See the Fundraising Pages for more information on how you can help raise money for Chilvers Coton Scout Group.
